AI content discovery starts with the answer
AI content discovery means helping the right system find the right public answer. Start with a useful page that has a stable URL and clear links from the rest of the site.
An extra AI file cannot rescue a weak page nobody links to. It can add depth after the page has earned its place.
Crawlers still need a way in
Google describes discovery as finding URLs through known pages, links and sitemaps. OpenAI uses separate crawlers for ChatGPT search and model training.
That makes crawler access a real business choice, not a guessing game hidden inside robots.txt.
- Allow the search crawlers you want to reach the page.
- Link the page from a useful hub or related article.
- Include the canonical URL in the sitemap.
- Keep the title and main subject consistent across the page and its records.
Read the current Google guide to how Search works and the OpenAI crawler documentation for the controls each system publishes.
Public files add useful depth
Rendered HTML gives a person the full page. Public JSON can give an AI system named fields and stable relationships. Markdown can provide the same explanation with less design around it.
AIToAINetwork.com connects those layers instead of asking one file to do every job.
The live public content catalog points to the site's article, page, glossary, FAQ and directory datasets. Each record points back to a human page built to answer the question.
Check the discovery chain
A discovery check should follow the same route a crawler has to follow.
- Find the page. Can a useful hub, sitemap or public listing lead to it?
- Read the answer. Does the opening say what the page gives the reader?
- Confirm the identity. Do the canonical URL, title and structured records describe the same subject?
- Follow the relationships. Do related pages and source files lead to the next useful answer?
If one link in that chain is missing, fix that gap before adding another endpoint.
Build the page first, then the layers
The machine-readable website guide shows how human pages and public records work together across a whole site.
If you want the gaps ranked instead of guessed at, the AI Network Readiness Review checks which public assets connect cleanly and what should be repaired first.
